jbA help Stonepillow with finishing touches to Bognor hostel

Local architects jbA turned their hands to decorating this week after a team from the firm helped the charity Stonepillow revamp one of their properties. Stonepillow’s supported accommodation provides a shared living environment in which people can take their next steps to independence.
With an office in Chichester, jbA are passionate about supporting the local community and were delighted to volunteer their time to help with the project. Cara Davies, Director at jbA, commented: “We had a fantastic day decorating the Stonepillow hostel in Bognor. They do fantastic work, and as architects we know how important surroundings can be to your mindset, so this seemed like a great place to start. Everyone at jbA values the chance to get involved in community projects and Stonepillow is an organisation we’ve long admired for their great work. Hopefully this is the start of many such projects with the team there – it’s been a great day for us, fostering teamwork and a real sense of achievement.”
Formed in 1989, Stonepillow offers shelter information and support to empower homeless and vulnerable individuals to make positive changes in their lives. The charity aims to create a safer environment that promotes social inclusion and relies on the support and funding from businesses like jbA to deliver these aims.
Laura Bulbeck, Stonepillow PR & Events Manager, said: “We are so grateful to the team at jbA for giving up their time to decorate one of our properties. This will make a real difference to the lives of the people living there, we could not run our services without support from businesses like jbA”.
