The Emsworth Branch of the RNLI committee is a happy and dedicated team of volunteers that raise funds throughout the year and support the fantastic and selfless crews of the lifeboats.
The branch could not operate as effectively as it does without the support of the Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club (ESSC). The Commodore, Hugh Kennedy, the Club Committee and all of the members are owed an enormous vote of thanks for their outstanding contribution over a large number of years. It would simply not be possible without their continued support. Thank you.
It would be wrong to mention individual committee members contributions but the numerous collection boxes scattered in various locations and generally contributes approximately £2k a year, which is a tremendous achievement. A considerable amount of funds are raised by the selling of souvenirs, at the coffee mornings and the annual Quay Sale.. All of these activities entail an enormous effort by the volunteers and the support given by the public is very much appreciated.
Funds raised over the past few years are as follows:
2016 £19,000 but this included a generous donation of £5k in memorial
There is one remaining fund raising event for 2019
Coffee Morning Saturday 2 November to be held sat the ESSC

Street Collection Flag Day Saturday 4th July Emsworth Town Centre
