Local film expert Richard Warburton will be giving a talk on the early years of cinema.  Tracing its history from the Lumières brothers to the coming of sound, the talk will highlight the innovators who shaped cinema into the form we know today.
Accompanied by a variety of clips this entertaining and illuminating talk will last just over an hour.  Wine and nibbles are provided.  A suggested donation of £5 will cover the costs with any profit going to the upkeep of the hall.
